Mary S. Jones is an attorney, arbitrator and mediator with over thirty years of experience. She spent fifteen of those years as in-house counsel for three different Fortune 100 companies handling a wide variety of corporate and business law matters, including securities, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, labor/employment and construction. She has been active with the American Arbitration Association since 1981 when she began serving on the AAA Commercial Panel. In 1994, Ms. Jones became a full time neutral and she has arbitrated and/or mediated over 500 cases.

Summary of Legal Experience
Ms. Jones has handled a wide variety of corporate and business law matters as in-house counsel, including, securities, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, insurance coverage and risk management issues, products liability, labor/employment and construction matters for Fortune 100 companies. Drafted and reviewed hundreds of different contracts, many valued in excess of $100 million, including the purchase and sale of numerous businesses and product lines, joint ventures, partnerships, real estate transactions and transfer of intellectual property and computer hardware and software development agreements. On behalf of issuers, handled SEC filings and reported compliance with NYSE and Pacific Stock Exchange Rules. As senior litigation counsel, managed staff and annual budgets of $2 million - $4 million for in-house and outside counsel and had primary responsibility for hundreds of litigation cases involving all types of State and Federal employment and labor disputes, harassment, discrimination, bias, ADA and EEOC claims, construction disputes, environmental clean-up, product defects, consumer disputes and premises liability. Also, handled False Claims Act litigation, investigations, document productions and search warrant raids as well as shareholder derivative and class action litigation.
